Welcome to the Prescott House Children's Advocacy Center. Our mission is to stop the abuse and neglect of children. Until that mission is completed, we will work every day to help heal and restore the lives of victims of child abuse and neglect.

Prescott House Children`s Advocacy provides services to child victims of physical and sexual abuse, severely neglected children and children who have witnessed a violent crime. The Center is a 501 © 3 non-profit organization located in Birmingham, AL. It provides services for the Birmingham Division of Jefferson County as well as other areas as needed. Representatives from the Jefferson County District Attorney`s Office, local law enforcement agencies, Alabama Department of Human Resources, and medical and mental health professionals work with Prescott House staff when cases are reported.

Prescott House is grateful for the funding we receive from The Alabama Network of Children`s Advocacy Centers, Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs-Law Enforcement Traffic Safety Division, The City Of Birmingham Office Of Community Development, our Private Donors, Corporate Donors, Local City Councils and County Commissions.

All services at Prescott House are offered at no cost to the child and their families. We are a private, non-profit agency relying on grants, fundraisers, and private donations for our funding. Prescott House has inter-agency agreements with the agencies we work with such as law enforcement and Alabama Department of Human Resources. We are not a state, county or city organization. All donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated. With your help, we can make a difference...one child at a time.
